It depends in which hospital do you want to stay! In government hospitals of Certain countries you may live there free lifetime even as a patient, can abscond from the hospital without paying any bill!This of course may depend on your position like - a really deserving poor person, or may be you are member of the Governing Body or of course you own the Hospital!

it depends what it is for and what materials they use on you .. My son was in the hospital when he was 1 yr old for 8 days and it was 95k dollars they charge for everything even the band aids and the straws
