Yes, as long as your not pregnant, but be sure to watxch the cat after the baby is born. They are known to try and sleep on them looking for warmth,

Yes just don't change the litter box. How ever, even though it hasn't happened in a long time (or rather it hasn't been proven the cause) cats tend to sleep near baby's, which in some cases have caused them to smother. (A sign of SIDS?) When they are small they can't remove the cat from their face to get air. I didn't think they really did this until I found my cat laying on my son's face when he was only one month old. Needless to say I no longer have a cat! Please be careful!!!

I owned a cat when I was pregnant. My husband didn't enjoy cleaning the litter box but my child wasn't affected by the cat. She is 15 and I make her clean the litter box now. lol.

Yes but DO NOT change the kitty litter! You can get seriously ill and cause your baby to get seriously ill. It is toxic to you while pregnant!

I looooove cats but I preferred my baby's health over my love for them. besides cats and dogs can get jealous and scratch your baby when he arrives. It happened to my brother when he was a baby
