The problem:
Find the x and y intercepts, if any, for the graph of 4x=3.

My question: is 4x=3 the same as 0y+4x=3

Thanks a lot!

If you solve 4x = 3 for x you get x = 3/4

This is a vertical line with no y intercept and, of course, an x intercept at x = 3/4

Yes, 4x=3 is the same as 0y+4x=3, but there is still no y intercept.

If 4x=3, then x=3/4.

This is a vertical straight-line at all points where x=3/4. The x-intercept is where this line intercepts the x-axis, which is clearly at the point (3/4, 0). This line actually runs parallel to the y-axis, and never intersects it. So, there is no y-intercept.

0y + 4x = 0 + 4x = 4x, so yes it is the same.

Right.
x=.75 is a horizontal line.
intercepts y axis at .75. does not intercept the x axis.
