She has to rise above this. Why would it be in the papers then? Surely they aren't allowed to print his name or is it something they have to print? If so it will only be in a tiny column part that nobody really reads anyway. The fact is she has thrown him out so shes got rid of the sad barsta*d. People will feel sorry for her more than anything I doubt anyone will be horrible. I worked with a woman once who was married and just had a baby and found out her hubbie was a pedophille and everyone found out about that. It must have been worse for her but she dealt with it and got on and everyone was really nice to her about it. Your friend must put on a brave face and soon it will be over and people will talk about something else I guarentee it. Good luck to her. x

Just be her friend, it isn't her fault that her husband has done this. It seems to me that some men have a predisposition to this kind of thing. Support her as best you can and tell her to hold her head up high and don't let small minded people get to her. If anyone should be embarrased it's her husband who sounds like a nasty piece of work. I do hope she has left him and is filing for divorce as soon as possible. Let her know you are there for her and will support her throughout the drama.

what a scum bag!! Your poor friend she must be gutted!
There's nothing you can do about the papers unfortunatly, if you know when it is to be published could you maybe take her away for a couple of days just untill the locals have heard something else to gossip about.
Remember, yesterdays new wraps todays fish and chips . . .. .people will soon forget
Hope it works out ok and they throw away his key and your friend can get on with a happy normal life :o)

just be there for her when she needs to rant or when she needs a shoulder to cry on .try and convince her not to get in a state about the papers, it will be a 2 minute wonder then something else will be the news i don`t imagine it will be splashed all over the front page anyway unless he is a celeb .

say this to her..
Something Specially
For You
I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.

Be there for her but that is all you can do. Don't beat up the man because sometimes even when you know how much they suck you as the person can say/think they suck but they really don't want to hear it from anyone else...Just be there to listen.

OOPS!!
The only thing you can do is be there for her whenever she needs you!!
Its him who should be embarrassed!! NOT her!! Shes done nothing wrong, maybe take her away to a really nice hotel for the evening & have a few nice drinks & maybe a spa.

Help you friend by advsing her on divorce, on cleaning her house of the hooker-lovers things. Help your friend by finding her a decent man an not a whore-chasing rat.

She should not feel ashamed, she does not have to appear perfect in people eyes. Everyone of them has his own problems and they might even be worse. It will go with time. Be there for her, listen to her, LET HER COMPLAIN IF SHE FEELS LIKE!

Just be a good friend, a shoulder to cry on, and listen to her. Don't bad-mouth her husband, just in case she forgives hm and takes him back.
