Because these are the things you remember over all else. If something goes as predicted without any failures, you will forget it. Screw ups make things more interesting and memorable, so they are the only incidences that come to mind when thinking about these things.

Things don't really go wrong every time they can. It just seems that way because people have a tendency to remember or be more affected by the negative than the positive. There have been many example when things can go wrong but it doesn't too:
# It's going to rain, and I have no unbrella, but it doesn't start raining until I get home.
#My printer doesn't always jam the night before something important is do, that's only happened once.

What you notice, is one of Murphy's Laws Of Improbabilities. It all comes from the fact that we are all moving constantly thru a sea of probabilities that are temporally based. A little earlier and it happens. A little later and it doesn't. How many times have just missed being stopped by the train? The tighter you figure your movements the more likely you are to get snagged somewhere along the way.
A great deal of your "bad luck" is in the timing. If you go someplace during "the big game", you'll find the roads with little traffic and the store with little occupancy. But, if you go at five PM on Friday, you'll probably find everyone running around like mad.
Wrong place, wrong time

Its a pessimistic attitude to think that way. In actuality anything can go wrong at anytime, but it does not. Sometimes when it rains I have my umbrella, sometimes when its sunny I don't have my umbrella, sometimes when it rains I don't have my umbrella, sometimes when its sunny I have my umbrella. That is the truth about life. But when things are going ok, it doesn't impact us. That's where the mentality of Murphy's Law comes into play.
Just MHO. Take it easy.

A lot of times one thing goes wrong and then you get upset and screw up and you make the next thing go wrong.
It's like people waiting for a train to go by, it takes so long it made me late. (My daughters favorite gripe, listen it goes by the same time each day leave earlier and you beat it.) It only takes three to 5 minutes for a train to go by, if that. I've timed it. 5 minutes won't make or break you, if you left on time in the first place.
Though there are times you can imagine the universe is conspiring against you. It just feels like that sometimes.

Things go wrong in a day because people forget that every day is god's day. When you get up in the morning go to your shrine kneel down and thank god for being alive and pray"lord it is your day let me pass through it safely and happily.
You will find the some one else offers you an umbrella
and you are in the right Que etc

You basically cursed yourself. Everyone is just trying to hard. We try to do everything perfectly which only leads to rushed imperfection. We need to try to be and stop trying to be perfect at everything as a species. Everything is going to happen anyway. I am not saying be passive in the flowing river of life, just don't try to live to hard. Then you will end up dead sooner than later.
