Is Halloween more popular in US than Carnival?

in Malta we ve only started to celebrate a bit in Haloween in the past few years and no one trick or treats - except for the few kids in my neighbourhood who are english.

In Carnival there is a 3 day holiday were all the kids and adults dress up, go to parties and villages make huge festivities with paper floats and dances.
Its gr8 fun

I'm sure the percentage of people in America who celebrate Carnival is very, very small. I have heard of it, but I have never known anyone who has celebrated it.

We do both, though for only one day. The large public gatherings like your Carnival are mostly held by people who charge and are trying to make a profit.

I had a lot of adult trick or treaters this year, but I didn't go out.
