Either Interview with a Vampire (I really like this one because it is the personal story behind the vampire's life and not about the victims) OR Bram Stroker's Dracula. Even better book. It is just plain freaky.
Although if you want to learn about the real Dracula, now that is freaky story. Just look up Vlad the Impaler. Vlad Dracula. Very interesting and freaky stuff.

Dracula 2000. I thought that the story line was very smart, implying that Dracula was Judas Iscariot.
