It depends on each individual's personality and preferences. It's just like asking what is the best color...blue or purple.

No need for me to take time on this answer Christmas is the best holiday. It is the day Jesus was born, it also brings families together for the holiday. Time for sharing and giving, it's the best feeling. Halloween is also a great holiday but Christmas has much more to it than Halloween.

You shouldn't really vote for a holiday, the vote is beign commercial and just saying which do you get more from, you get more from christmas usually, halloween lasts 3 days and christmas lasts 12, halloween has a reputation for the dead returning to there old home and to visit people, even evil spirits, and christmas is just the time jesus died for our sins. Christmas is more religious but also more commercial.

I love Halloween, i like it more than christmas for personal reasons because of certain (bad) things that have happened to me at christmas time and on christmas. It contains a lot of bad memories. Halloween is fun, and my friends have parties (fun child-safe parties, normally just some random music, a fire out back, stories, movies, n video games) I love horror movies and Halloween gives me an excuse to pull out all of my old movies and watch them over and over again *wants to find Pet Sematary again* Don't get me wrong, I don't hate christmas, at that time I love going ice skating and giving gifts to my friends. But I'd much rather have halloween than christmas (Plus, theres less arguing on halloween, not everyone is merry around christmas, but people are joyous or non-caring about halloween, it doesn't normally spark bad moods like christmas seems to do for some)

Christmas.
First reason, I'm Christian, 'nuff said on that.
Second, It's prettier. I don't know who decided orange, black, and purple were the colors of Halloween, but it's ugly. All Halloween decorations are ugly. Even the stupid Disney Princesses annoy me because of all the rest of the ugliness.
I don't know which is worse, hundreds of grown adults (both men and women) dressed as "Captain Jack Sparrow", because they don't have enough imagination to think of anything else, or the idiots who do have imagination and subject us all to their asinine humor and wasting perfectly good fabric on stupid costumes.
Third, the music is better. Who wants to listen to a scream track and endless repetitions of "Monster Mash" when you can listen to Christmas carols?
Fourth, 'Trick or Treaters' who destroy stuff. There is always a heck of a mess in my neighborhood.
Fifth, shopping. It's the only time of the year where you're almost required by law to go shopping, and get presents. The commercialism and down right greed of our society is a joy to behold during the holidays. Especially when brawls break out in parking lots over the best spaces. (I personally have seen this on 3 separate occasions! Just another reason to love Target.)
Sixth: lawn decorations. Both holidays have them now, but it's so fun to drive the 'hood and see all the "Jesus action figures". I think that falls under prettier than Halloween though.
Seventh, idiots who pop out and scare you just to watch you jump out of your skin and think that's a great joke. Not just once, but many times in this so accursed day.
Yeah, I really don't like Halloween!!!
Cheers
