60s movie, help!?

A white female was put into a mental institution and didnt recognize her husband. It was during a time when nobody understood what a mental illness was. I didint recognize any of the actors or actress but I'm not good with that so it could have been someone popular. It isnt "The Notebook". It was in black and white and it was on TMC (turner movie classics).
I'd really like to see this movie all the way through. Pls help :)

Go to http://www.tcm.com/ and look at their October movie schedule. You should be able to find it :)
