Why do women like to dress up slutty for Halloween?

Most women I see at Halloween parties dress up like sexy cats, sexy witches, sexy anything - wearing fish-net stocking etc. Is it their secret fantasy to be slutty and seductive?

There is a difference between sexy and slutty.
Some women like to dress sexy, but they have this problem (to borrow your sweeping generalization) that most men can't distinguish between sexy and slutty.

Some women may dress slutty, just as do some men. The fact that men's prurient interests in sexuality can't handle a sexual woman isn't their problem.

The other problem is the double-standards between men and women. Tell me why it's wrong for a woman to wear no shirt, while that's ok for men... Men have nipples and breast tissue, just not as much as women. When men wear shorts, people aren't checking out their legs. The only problem here is that women are thought of as only sexual objects, and it's men making the rules. If you want to be equitable, keep your shirts on.

they want attention apparently, a woman can dress sexy but not reveal everything underneath, and when certain women do that they only want the attention. I know of a lady last year who went to a local bar (I don't do bars but a friend of mine does as he is a bouncer) and he told me this lady came in with a coat on and when she took the coat off all she had on for a costume was a bandaid across both boobs and a bandaid on her yuhoo. What an idiot. She did it all for attention and boy did she ever get the attention, she was thrown out of the bar. That right there is a bit trashy and definately screaming for attention.

I would say the reason is simple, Halloween is a time to be something you are not and no one can really say anything. So a lot of women take this chance to dress up really sexy. They get to step outside their normal wear and put on something they wouldnt normally wear in public and its ok, no one says anything because every one is dressed up. Its a chance to be mysterious and different from who they are. Its like a vacation from your self.

Halloween is a perfect opportunity to be someone you're not. Next time count how many guys you see dressed up as women or animals. Also, I would keep an eye out for the women dressed as the conservative amish type. Those are probably the real "sluts".

Of course. Its' the one night in the year when women are given permission to dress sexy and not be called a complete slut over it. Women are suppose to look sexy for halloween. Except when Paris Hilton does the sexier _____ costume and then she just looks like a 2 dollar hooker.

LOL I wondered the same thing. I guess they want to dress as normally as possible, and now a days they dress slutty so they are comfortable and normal, also to get more attention.

Women these days have no tact. They wish to announce to the world that they are ready to breed at any given moment. Ah, I remember the days when young ladies acted as such and were not whores in training like some of today's women! To those women I say: "Grow up and don't breed!"
