Both programs sound good. It seems like you may have more opportunities for internships if you pursue these degrees in the Washington, DC area. GW, Georgetown and American have excellent dual law and public policy programs. You will find tons of internship and employment opportunities after you graduate, and this experience will be extremely valuable for your career.

Both programs sound on target...have you thought about sociology with a concentration on social/public policy?
