I'd probably have to say at the end when the young cop killed lorenz tate. Throughout the whole movie we were made to believe he was different from the other cop who was racist and in the end, he/we found he was no different. We all think we're perfect until a situation like this one proves us wrong. It was sad to me that the boy who was shot had to lose his life over something so pointless. If not that one, I'd say either the racist cop saving the life of the woman he sexually assaulted (and her accepting his help) or the little girl protecting her father when he was shot at by the store owner.
The whole movie shows how we learn from our mistakes and use them to become a better individual - and how blind our society is. It brings to light what this country tries so hard to pretend doesn't exist and all of America should be forced to sit down and watch this.

The whole situation about the black female and the abusive cop, it is really disturbing, and there are actually people like him, the part that hit me the most was when he saved her from the exploding car, and how did she let him, eventhough what he did, only because letting him do that, was the only thin that could save her

The part with the little girl and the crazy guy was about to shoot her dad until she jumped up and gave him a hug. When the gun went off nothing happened to the dad because she gave him her magic cape to protect him. I really thought she was going to get shot and die and that was the part I just could not watch.

When Sandra Bullock's character didn't want the Hispanic guy changing her locks. It's sad, but a lot of people think that way.
