I think it's awesome. Yeah, it's rare in our culture but that doesn't make it weird. In fact, I think you have an advantage to many people in our society: a purity and innocence that, once it's gone, can never be regained. Purity is a special thing. Don't be too eager to cast it aside. Besides, you're not alone . . . I'm 22, have never been kissed, and have only been involved in one relationship. It's not that I don't get asked out all the time, but I've chosen to not "play around" and to instead wait for that special person. Keep it up and don't worry what other people might think about you!

Is it weird? It depends on how you define weird. It is abnormal in today's society, but in and of itself it isn't a bad thing. Many people go their whole lives without finding love.
Do you have the desire for interpersonal intimacy, but find it impossible to overcome your shyness to acheive it? If so then it is something you should work on. Otherwise, you should be patient and wait until you feel comfortable.
Personal decisions are just that: personal. You should not worry about what society tells you. Our society today is totally different than it was decades ago, so be true to yourself and let things fall as they may.
If you do feel there is something wrong with you and you do desire intimacy but find it difficult, try a few sessions with a counselor... you may be surprised at what lies inside.
Best of luck!

Bravo for you! I'll be 19 in Feb. and have never kissed someone, or even been on a date. I consider it to be saving myself for the man who I will spend the rest of my life with. I dream of marrying a gentleman, and I would hate to have to explain to him that there are 20 other men in the world who have been kissed by me.

Not weird but sparks some concerns of you fear of intimacy. Start first by taking you thumb and your second finger and forming some lips. close your eyes and visualize the person you want to kiss. That will tell you where you need to go to get that intimacy that you deserve.
Good Speed with your journey, Hugs and kisses go along together quite nicely.

if you WANT to get kissed, just go to a bar and get drunk and you'll find a ton of guys who wanna make out wid you.If you want to wait for the right person, then i think you're way way better off than the rest of us, coz there's nothing like the first kiss with the person you REALLY love.

Be who you are and don't worry about what society says. When the time and guy is right, you will have it all. Then enjoy that!! Until then, enjoy what you have right now and be happy in who you are!!!
