Food was already suggested, but he's right on. You could be suffering a food allergy in a minor form and you body thinks it's an invading germ, so it tries to cook it out with a fever.

Look carefully at what you eat and if your symptoms increase or decrease at different times of the day or week.

I suffer from Celiac disaease and my primary symptom is muscle joint and bone type aches. Almost like rhuematism or arthritis. Along with swollen glands, cystic acne and constipation. I removed all wheat products from my diet and all signs of pain were greatly reduced.

I still feel pain monthly, or when the weather is very bad(low pressure cells) But living in constant pain can be very draining, and depressing. People think it's in your head, and treat you like your crazy, but when relief comes you feel so much better that they can't believe you.

Look into it. Even a 7 day elimination diet won't hurt you. Be aware of any change in symptoms, then go back onto whatever food it is you removed and watch for the return of symptoms.

More often than not it is a very favourite food that is causing trouble. Consider what it is you eat or drinkalot of, and start there. Bread ,pastas, cereal, crackers, all fit in the same group with wheat. Read labels.

The first thing I'd do in that situation is think about what I was eating just before the onset of this condition. Might be too much fat or sugar, or it might be a low-level of blood poisoning.
