They need good care and need to visit a Vet at least once a year... I know there's a good one in Riverside, CA.... I have a business card and will look for it when I get home... in about 6hours... will post info again, if you're outside California, you might want to look for resources on the net... just make a search, type the word tortoise or turtle and bingo! you will open a plethora of information... take your time is fascinating and informative... will post the number later, I won't forget.

No turtle or tortoise routinely needs vaccinations.

I am not sure you might wait to call your local vet and ask them.I love tortoise!we had a turtle growing up! sorry I am not much help!polly
