Hello fozzy_bear:

About 3 years I was rushed to the hospital with an illness the couldn't figure out. I was in such intense pain that to even life my arms was impossible.
All of the sudden I was warm inside and although my body was being tortured by the pain, I felt calm and collected. As my eyes moved around the room, I noticed a door way and in that door way stood a person out of my past. He was a boarder at my house when i was about 6 or 7 years old. He looked the same as he did the last time I saw him 42 years ago. It struck me funny why he was in his jeans and leather coat, while everyone else was in hospital outfits. He looked at me and asked me how I was doing and after telling him "I was fine" he asked me if i was ready. I didn't understand the question so i answered "ready for What?". Within a blink of an eye he was gone. The pain I had was disappearing and I actually felt great.
They found out later that I passed a blood clot and that's what caused the extreme pain and fatigue.
I do not know if this man from my past was there to help me through it or guide me on another journey but this memory will always make me remember that day.
thanks
iamjustrandy

i never have personally, but there's an inn close by me that was built in 1812. in the 1980's a couple was lodging there and went to a baseball game then to denny's afterwards so they arrived back very late and the place was closed up and the couple forgot their key. so they knocked on the door and a woman answered and immediately put her finger to her mouth hushing them. the couple thought nothing of it and went to bed. the next morning, they told the clerk to apologize to the lady for waking her.

the clerk asked what lady they were talking about and they described her as an elderly looking woman dressed in outdated clothing and wearing a bonnet. the clerk turned pale white and looked terrified. the couple asked what was the matter. he told them that there were no elderly women lodging there or employed by the inn. he apparently knew the tale.

the inn has had several reports from patrons and employees alike of a woman dressed in 1800's style clothing and wearing a bonnet wandering the halls. a common report is when patrons go into their room, they'll see a woman walking into the bathroom. mistaking her for an employee, they will ask if she wants them to come back when she's done and get no answer. when they go into the bathroom, nobody's there.

many people have claimed to see and old woman looking out of the windows and waving and it is said that in the 70's she woke up the manager to tell him that there was a fire in the kitchen.

the woman is believed to be suzanne rider. the wife of the inn's founder. she died in the inn in the 1800's of pnemonia. she is said to be a pleasant ghost who smiles at guests.

I was in the RAF in Cyprus, working alone on the nightshft at the radar receiver station. The place was brilliantly lit and the nearest human was located a mile away. Noticing unusual meter readings on a receiver unit, I got the test gear out. It weighed 15 Kilo. I began to work away when I noticed a strange white cloud floating like seaweed in water, hovering by the central hall open door. It moved from side to side, reaching from floor to ceiling. I turned back to the test gear and it wasn't there. I had move 30 feet away, rose off the floor and sat on another piece of equipment. The cloud remained. I tried everything logical to repair this unit but gave up in frustration. Still the cloud remained, until I shouted "FO! and annoy someone else". It melted away as I walked towards and though the door into a small kitchen to make some tea. I reached out to the sink tap and the white cloud reappeared hovering in front of me over the sink. I cursed at it again.. Being a weekend, there was no flying, and since we worked 13 hour shift we could cat nap when all was quiet. I lay down on the camp bed and fell asleep. Suddenly, and in severe pain, I found myself sitting up right, my tongue stretched out of my mouth and choking. I couldn't breath for a long time. I had been violently chopped on the Adam's apple. In front of me was a face . It looked like someone wearing an ancient Greek soldier's scull cap. I stayed awake after that. The building was on top of the sea cliffs, were the ancient Greeks buried their dead.

hi in reply to the question yes i have as a child i used to see a vicar and altar boys walking through my mothers house and on occasions i used to see a man and two little children standing around a coffin, i was very sick at the time and i used to say to my mother that the altar boys was singing to me and the man with the children and coffin was saying stay there. our house was situated near the major diocese church in my home town and my mother did some investigating and asked the vicar about what i had said to her and i gave the names of the man and the children and his wife, the vicar looked up the records found there names and they was part of the great black death (the plague) and i gave them the names of them all and the strange thing is the father died next and the two children after and the vicar was gob smacked cus the records was kept in the main vault and that was the only recorded book of the deaths that had been registered. but in adding to that the place where our house and estate was built was plague burial grounds that had mass graves there that had no grave stones but was built on in the late victorian era. as of then they did not have the 200 years law which says you cannot build on areas of graves until the last body has been left for 200 years. i still think about it today even though im 38 and this happened when i was 8 after 30 years it still seams like it happened today and the names are still in my head and there faces are still clear in my mind.

I have seen spirits or ghosts and I've also heard them. Spooky but also special.
