Georgia is firmly in asia. Europe would be regarded as east of the atlantic north of the mediterranean and west of the Ural Mountains and the Black sea. Russia is considered part European because most of its population is west of the Urals and Turkey is considered part European because some of the country is west of the Bosphours strait. Georgia is Asia as it is in a region known as the Caucasus east of the Black Sea.
