Yes it is very normal. I lost some weight due to morning sickness...which hasn't gone away yet. If this is the case with you, then you are just fine. If you haven't had any morning sickness, then maybe you should ask your doctor. It may just be you aren't eating enough for your body...the baby is taking most of your nutrients. Good Luck and congrats on your baby!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I only gained 9 pounds because nothing sounded good to eat and sometimes I would get sick all the time. I would gain weight at one visit by the next one I would lose half of that if not more. It is not a bad thing unless your doctor seems to be concerned about it otherwise I would enjoy having that little one inside you growing. Good luck!

With my first I didn't gain any weight at all until I was 7 months, and then I only gained 7 lbs. I ended up with a 7lb. 12oz. baby girl and she's perfect. Every woman is different, try to relax.

I lost 20 lbs my first trimester. My doctor said as long as I'm eating healthy and drinking my water I was fine. I gained it back my third trimester and most likely you will too. Congrats and best of luck!

Best thing to do is talk to your doctor. If he is worried about the weight loss, then he will help you to eat properly. Good luck.

If you are overweight it isn't uncommon. This happened to my sister-in-law twice. She's only overweight...not obese. You will probably start gaining soon enough.
