if so has anybody played a dean baby z im am going to buy one the reviews are real good but i kind of would like to hear from someone personally about them

They are not my type of guitar. I play Jazz guitars. But having run a Guitar Center many moons ago. It is a fairly decent guitar and fun to play.Dean Zelensky built good instruments. These are not built by him but are built according to his design.

Here's the thing: Never buy a guitar based on reviews. It all depends on how it feels in YOUR hands. Assuming that it's in playable condition.

if you're just starting out go for it however, low end deans lack in every aspect. if you want a good dean you're gonna have the dish out the two grand to get one. just buy a mexi strat. can't go wrong with that if you're just a beginer.
