I've been told that I have an anterior placenta placement. If you've had this, were you on bedrest or was your pregnancy fine? I've heard that the placenta can slide down the farther along that you are, is this true? When were you told about the placement? Where there any complications with your pregnancy due to the placement of the placenta.

I had a c-section with my first child due to my labor not progressing because she was way too big to pass through the birth canal. I really want to have a VBAC. Before I was told about the placement of the placenta my daoctor and I had discussed having a VBAC. My doctors are specialist so they are willing to let me try if my pregnancy was going great. Now I want to know the pros and cons of a VBAC since I found out about the plaement of the placents. I am only 19 weeks and want to find out as much information that I can before I make a decision about having a VBAC now. If you have any great info that may be helpful in making the right decision

I had placenta previa with my second child. The baby was turned the wrong way, and it meant I would have to have a C-Section, or we might both die. Luckily for me, my baby turned in the 5th month. Unfortunately, it put me in false labor continuosly until she was born at full term. I had to work, but my Dr. did say that being off my feet as much as possible would have been beneficial.
Ask your Dr. what is right for you, and go with his/her directions. Your health and your baby's health should not be left to yahoo answers.
