I'm doing a research project for school on gender differences in watching American baseball and I would love everyone's opinion.
These are basically the questions to think about when answering:
-Is there a male dominance in watching the game of baseall? Why do you think that?
-Why do we associate men with baseball and not women?
-How has gender differences changed since baseball first started?

They might be a male dominance in watching the game of baseball but in my household the girls watch baseball just as much as guys do... also i am very into the game and i know it was well as any guy i have meet
we associate men with baseball because women dont play baseball professionally but girls still play baseball in little league and i am glad to see that girls are more into the game physically and not just mentally
it has change because you see more girls in the stands and more girls are playing it

I personally dont think there are...baseball is the only sport that a lot of my female friends will watch...they just tune out over football..I think the woman like it cuz it's a sport most of us grew up playing, even if it was just w/the neighborhood kids. I've heard a few women comment how they like that baseball is played in a series so they get to know the players on both teams..

Baseball is a sport loved by males for years but recently the women are starting to show more interest. I know they sell pink Red Sox hats now and have unisex bathrooms that can be converted to support the females at Fenway

If you love baseball that's all the matters. Millions of men and women all over the world love baseball. And why not, it's the greatest game in the world!

more men watch sports then women
we associate men playing more sports then women but
that assumption is incorrect look at college sports for women
my daughter plays for the University of Texas, as the SS on the women's softball team. Women now, thanks to Title9 a law passed by congress saying that colleges and universities must have equal scholarships for both men and women at the college level.
As fr as gender differences since baseball was first conceived by Abner Doubleday back in the 1800's now women play in all sports. There is a pro women's baseball league and a pro women's softball league.

I love baseball.... Men are asociated more with baseball because all the players in MLB are male. Recently I've felt that women are more into the sport. Some cause they like it others cause they like the eye candy...

Actually, I've noticed increasingly more and more women watch baseball. I know plenty that are really into it and it's by far their favorite sport. And they take losing REALLY hard...almost too hard sometimes lol.
I would say football is more dominated by guys than baseball.
