I just now weaned my 16-month-old. I did not menstruate at all while breastfeeding, but I did have occasional days when I felt menstrual (cramps, tired, etc.) I am using non-hormonal birth control. When can I expect to start menstruating again? How long should I go before considering it a problem?

i would wait a month or two...then ask my ob/gyn, especially if you were normally regular. i wouldn't go anymore than 8 weeks before calling the dr...if nothing else just to keep them informed of your cycle/general health info.

No, some women people have not got a era until they wean or they might start up it lower back good away. for many females people breastfeeding delays ovulation nonetheless. WIth my first son, i did no longer get mine lower back until he replaced into 9 months previous. My 2d is very practically 3 months and it hasn't lower back. I relatively have friends who've long gone 14+ months mutually as nursing with no era.

I would say about 2-3 months. That's how long it took after my son was born. But I wasn't on Birth Control. Always be on the lookout for it. You don't want to be caught off guard.
