Actually, that "rope" that comes out is mucoid plaque, which is built up toxic mucus in the lining of the intestine over years and years of poor diet. That plaque is what blocks the intestine from doing what it is supposed to do, which is reabsorb the nutrients that have been broken down earlier in the gut. When you "scrub" out the plaque and hardened feces from the intestinal walls (this is what psyllium does), you should notice an increase in energy because you're body is actually receiving those nutrients again. Removing parasites will also help with energy because they will not be there stealing your nutrients and adding toxins to the lining of your intestinal walls.
Also, there is a problem with medicine in America. You would think, logically, that we should be cleaning our colons regularly, and that it should be one of the first measures a doctor would prescribe to make his patient well when presented with a list of previously mentioned symptoms (see DrNatura website). We, in America, believe that parasites are something you catch in other (3rd world) countries. Parasites are everywhere and they have evolved to find a way into our systems any way they can. Microscopically, eggs are everywhere and you cannot avoid them altogether. The best we can do is keep our own parasitic load level down through maintenance. Pharmaceutical companies are a force to be reckoned with since they push chemical drugs as a cure for ALL our ailments when ALL our ailments do not need them. If we choose to use something other than a chemical compound created and patented by a pharmaceutical company, we are taking money out of their pockets, and that makes them unhappy. I think this product is safer than a chemical compound, and does in fact, help some people with ailments that prescriptions have failed to do. And it is so simple. Start with the basics. Make your colon clean and healthy first, then go from there, otherwise, all those vitamins and good healthy food you're eating (all your other efforts) are just going to waste.
I just got my 3 month system in the mail today. I'm starting tomorrow morning and I can't wait!

I just got off my three-month cleanse with it, actually.
Yes, it works. Not exactly to the degree one might think from the pictures, but it definitely works.
Basically, I have about two or three healthy movements a day; although they're drastically different from what I was accustomed to before, they're nowhere near as horrifying as the pictures. The "ropey" stuff you see is the fiber (psyllium, I believe is what the first person was referring to) coming out and binding all of the stools together.
No parasites, although I didn't actually go prodding at any of it or anything, so I can't say for certain.
Three other people in my family tried it along with me, and we all got about the same results... drastic improvement, but no miracles, and no more weight loss than a couple of pounds altogether.
It's a pretty easy-to-follow program, and everything tastes quite good. I mixed the fiber up in chocolate soy milk every morning.
Give it a try if you'd like... it's certainly not going to hurt anything, except maybe your pocketbook. I was fortunate enough to get my three months paid for, because my family wanted me to go on it with them; I'm sort of the unspoken alternative-medicine expert in my family. :)
Just don't expect a miracle.

I used the colonix and detox for 1 month and I loved it. I now continue taking the detoxigreens, their multivitamin, and the fiber daily. I have such great energy now and am feeling really good. I didn't use it to loose weight or because of bowel problems. I basically did it for the detox because I would get hives really bad. I used to take 2,000mg of L-lysine daily for my hives to prevent outbreaks but since I started using Dr. Natura I have not taken any lysine and have had no outbreaks of hives! That is good enough for me!! Give it a try, they have a money back guarantee. And, for all who don't know, if you do like their product after using it, go to their testimonial site and click on to write yours. Just for doing this they will send you a free jar of fiber that normally costs about $38.00! Good Luck!

It sort of works...The pictures you are seeing that are so shocking is NOT accumulations in your colon. That is what happens when you ingest too much Cilium. Cilium in large quantities turns into a gel and you can imagine what that would look like when you expel it. The part that does work is it does make you "go"...Not worth the price though.
Now this is gross but true, think about when you've been sick and have had really bad diarrhea for days....Anything "weird" come out? No? There you go.
Now think about this. If their claims were true, don't you think this would be something that we would have known about for years? I think medicine is advanced enough to recognize this and address it...They haven't. Think of all the people that have colonoscopies, I think if things were so gunked up in there that Dr.s would have a solution for cleaning it out. In fact, they would probably suggest it as a health maintenance practice for a healthy colon...They don't.
I would suggest that you spend $5.00 on a tub of Cilium husk from your local Trader Joes and use that instead of giving $100+ dollars to a snake-oil salesman that are going to overdose you on it.

Reading this I really want to share something because I spent several years going from diet to diet without seeing any success until I came across Pams magic plan (just google it). Without doubt its the best weight loss that I have ever achieved and it is still working to this day.
