tyhe reason i ask this question is that well i grow up with the notion the u.s is a superpower but others well especialy europeans might not agree. well with the european ahte theu.s and all i wonder son what do you thing i would much like to hear from some europeans when it comes to this quetion

The strategic nukes put certain countries into the superpower realm... a euphemism for ability to commit global suicide. That club is extremely limited membership....sorry.

Superpower is just a sugar coated word for Imperialist Power and the notion of the States as a Great Power depends on what you consider great. Lyndon B. Johnson believed in trying to make America a Great Society where the key merit would be virtue, compassion and high cultural values, but he was sidetracked by Viet Nam!

I think the leaders in the government are a bunch of bullies. I don't think we're a great big anything in the rest of the world. We pick fights and hit them with a whole bunch of bombs. Then we go in and say we're going to show them how it's done. Who are we to show them how it's done? We're going to keep picking fights and butting into other countries business until they start bombing us. United States are saying they are in control, but they need to open their eyes and go down town with their bull. If they are so great, why do they surround themselves with body guards? And you know something else, I'm no Dixie Chick, but if I was, I'd be ashamed too. Isn't this a free country? Don't we have freedom of speech? Yea, right, as long as we say what they want to hear.

united states would have to be a superpower cuz of its strategic army forces and how influential it is to the world
yes we may be in debt but either way werea are an infulential country wehter you like it or not
