Have you? Dont respond if you're going to be rude about this.
If you think people who have attempted Suicide , are insane or stupid , Keep that to your self.
I have atleast 5+ times , I'm nearly 15 year's old.
If you saw how I lived , my lifestyle and everything you'd think I Was perfect , but sadly I'm not.
If you have can you give reasons , of why you have? and when?

I used to be seriously depressed (in the medical sense of the word) and at that time, everything just seemed hopeless and I thought of suicide quite often and seriously considered committing suicide to get out of all that pain. Today I am glad that I didn't, because my life did get better, my depression was cured and today I am happy and living a good life.
In almost all cases, suicidal thoughts are caused by a mental illness (depression being the most common one). What happens is that the chemicals in the brain get imbalanced, meaning that our brain doesn't get enough "happy chemicals" and therefore we feel horrible and our thought process gets messed up and we can't really think clearly, we see everything through the misery we are experiencing. This chemical imbalance can be cured and the suicidal thoughts disappear and life becomes normal and you can be happy and live a good life.
If you have suicidal thoughts you should see a doctor about it, you're ill. If it was your heart that wasn't functioning right I'm sure you wouldn't hesitate to see a doctor, so why not do the same for the brain? You have nothing to lose and everything to win, so please give it a try. You don't have to continue going through that pain, you can be cured like I was.
All the best.

I have thought about commiting suicide many, many times in my life. Mostly when something just didn't go my way. Every time I think about it, I decide my parents would cry- and I don't want that, my children wouldn't get to see me ever again, and I would really miss all the great things that have happened in my life.
If you are only 15, give life a chance. It's hard to get thru school, but you'll love your life in the end. Hang in there. There is nothing better than being alive, to feel, and touch, and smell the world around you. Give it a try.
Nobody is perfect. Try to make someone smile every day. Remeber to find your own fun in everything you do, and always listen to music. It can make you cry, or laugh, or just get goosebumps. Make your life what you want it to be, and you will never have to go thu with suicide.

I cut my veins 10 years ago until I saw the blood coming out as from a hose. I lost consciousness, everything became black. I did this in a secluded place so as to avoid someone barging in and saving me. I came to 5 hours later. Got really scared by the blackness, the nothingness. I went back to my home, faced the problems that had driven me to suicide, overcame those I could and placed the others in the back of my mind.
If suicide takes you to the Void, Life is prefferable. You think of suicide because you do not like the life you have, forgetting that there are other ways to live, and not because you want to die. Change your life but do not quit it because of problems.

I'm sorry to hear that dear, I was in your shoes once & was diagnosed at the age of 19 with Depression. Please consider seeking help with the illness, it's really nothing to be embarrassed about...there are a lot of people out there who really DO understand.
Depression has very little to do with lifestyle & everything to do with chemicals in your body, the lack of these chemicals gave me thoughts of self hatred & that provoked thoughts that others would see me as ungrateful...don't submit to these feelings of guilt they are a part of the illness.

I have thought about it a few times, and have taken pills to try. but never could go threw with it. life is bad at times, but no matter what someone else has it worse then you do, and they are making it threw it. just be strong, life might suck right now, but down the road, you will be happy you didnt.

You know what, stop your whining. If you have problems, get some help. It's such a pathetic stance against life. So cowardly. You really think you've got it bad. You don't even know the half of what it really means to have it bad. Try living in a third world country for a year. Or on the streets. Try living with a debilitating, chronic illness that strips you of your quality of life!
I get so sick and tired of people talking about killing themselves. Trust me, if you really wanted to kill yourself, you would have by now.
Stop trying to get attention and get help if you so need it.

First, you must seek help.
Second- I got so low at one point that I actually saw how someone COULD contemplate it. I got over my low point and never considered it. I do know that you need help. Go now.
