It seems that most of the Iraqis dying each day are being killed by other Iraqi "civillians". It appears the first thing some Iraqis have done with freedom is to choose to kill those that they feel have been oppressing them all these years. Maybe that is something we should have expected, but I don't think anybody did.

And who thinks CNN is not a biased political media outlet?!!

It's both...

there is sectarian hatred between the Sunnis and the Shiites. Shiites are prominant in Iran, which has been considered an enemy to Iraq for years. This, by the way, is one of the reasons we once supported and tolerated Iraq... because at one time, Iran was a bigger threat.

Insurgent terrorists are coming from other muslim countries and are using this sectarian hatred to their strategic advantage. The attack the Sunnis, for example, and make them think the attack came from a Shiite province in Iraq, thus causing the Sunnis to retailiate against the Shiites.

All of this is making the region very hard to control by the Iraqi government and the coalition forces.
