There are no instruments involved, only a computer to make noise while someone speaks very fast with the computer noises. I don't see where any talent is needed to make it.

As a guitarist, I don't listen to much rap. I'm pretty sure most rappers don't play much rock guitar either. Nonetheless, we're motivated by the same thing - Music.

The best I can tell you is that musically, rap is about rythm. I may be off there, but it seams to be a major factor. Timing and rythm. What I do know is that it is put on CD's, sold as commercial music and a lot of folks buy it, so technically, there ya go. It's a reflection of the person making it. We're all different and don't understand each other so well, so that carries over into music. It does take talent. Try rapping or running turntables, it's competition as much as it is music. The motivation behind it though, is universal.

Where have you been. I would be the last person to support rap. It is not my to my liking. It is like any other poem set to muaic. It is set to music- with instruments. If you have only heard computer generated instruments, I am sorry to hear that. Even so, that is still music. Move on.

So whats your point? Rap music is NOT for the closed minded, but neither is Rock & Roll or Sushi for that fact!. IIts not about the fact the person is speaking fast, its about what there saying. Obvioulsy you've never actually listened.

Yea, i'm sure you can sell a million records, too. LOL. I mean, it sooo easy to do, right? And, you're obviously mistaken. Hip Hop is definitely music. Since when have melodic drum patterns not been considered music. What's your definition of music anyway? And, so what if they used computer generated sounds. It IS 2006. Technology has allowed for people not to have to have a full band if they don't want to.

And since you don't see the talent needed to do it, let's see you try?????

I'm waiting.

When you come out with your LP, let me know. Also, please let me know when your record gets on the Bilboard.

properly maximum rappers were writing lyrics when you consider that they were babies so that they spend years on perfecting their lyrics, so i think like you're basically some ignorant fool to imagine that rapping would not posses skill. Screamo worst form of song when you consider that techno besides with dubstep.

It's not its the dirtiest crap I have ever heard. There is nothing to the words accept garbage. All it is, is where two gang members are competing between each other for a war, why do you think so many Rappers are DEAD!

How can you think wrong of Hip Hop and not Barn Dances and Hill-Billie Music! I'd say they are the same, urban hillbillies or backwoods hillbillies!
