Okay so earlier this summer I had an old man drive by in his black truck, when I went to go report it to the police he stopped coming around, now I am getting these really creepy phone call's (first it started on my house, now they are calling my cell) I DO know it's halloween and mabey someone is playing a MEAN joke but they are calling saying...I am watching you..etc, they call from a blcoked number so when I go to star 69 them it wont come up. Can the phone companies (I have verizon & t-mobile) track down that number from the time they called even tho it is blocked? Any information would be helpfull. Thank's in advance :)

DUH! I know it's the wrong category but I ask ALOT of question's (and answer) under TTC and I didn't know where else you would put a "stalker" question!!!!

Notify the police, they could help you acquire the phone records. Also, if you feel it is a threat, file a report.

Keep a log of everytime this person calls. Contact law enforcement periodically with the time, content, and frequency of calls. If they can charge him with something like stalking 3rd or menacing, they will.
Their first piece of advice will probably be to change your number. Do this and then see if you still get calls with the same content. This will show that the person is someone you know. And yes, the phone company can tell law enforcement where the calls are coming from. Though they may not be able to tell you.
If he is charged with anything, request a stay away order of protection with a clause for no phone contact. That will make the punishment more severe if he tries to contact you again.

You need to create a paper trail of all of the events happening. So, report it to the police every time there is another incident. This will be invaluable if this guy ever trys anything else that you want to prosecute. Do you have a way of recording your phone calls. They would also be useful in trying to prove your case if it ever came to that.

First tell your friends that you're really worried and want to change your phone number because of the phone calls. If no one admits to the "joke" change the number. Wait a few days before you give it out. If it continues call the police.

the phone companies can track down these numbers for you. do you have some way to record these phone calls? even though it is halloween, you should probaly call your local police to ask them what you should do.
