Even if they do come and sit at the six party discussion can they be trusted to comply?? My personal feeling is NO. They will say what we want to hear and do another. Their HATRED toward America is very strong and as they said in the past they will get us. Is this just a way to get what they want?? We have the edge and are we doing the right thing to negotiate with them?? Or should we stand our ground and continue to punish them?? I know they have strong bonds with China who is a very powerful country but should worry about that??

North Korea is looking to get paid again. They pulled this same thing before. They threatened nuclear tests and Clinton paid them off. Now Kim is trying it again, and Bush is not going to pay them. They want money from the US, that is why they didn't want six nation talks, just talks with the US, even though they keep telling everyone they hate America.
China is powerful there, and could probably wipe them off the face of the earth if they get pissed, and North Korea knows that too. I think we are doing the right thing with the six nation talks, so Korea had to the right thing without getting paid to do it.

Absolutely they can! When Clinton sent Albright over there, Kim promised he was just misunderstood, so they gave him all the equipment he needed to either produce nuclear power or nuclear bombs....and look what he did.

North Korean cannot feed it's own population and it's government's back is to a corner over that. Nothing backed into a corner can be trusted.

Obviously not they have lied before. The talks are a waste. We will realize one day we have to bomb nuclear facilities in all rougue countries hopefully before it is too late.
