I actually thought they were one of the more settled couples in Hollyweird; but when I saw a headline the other day about Ryan Philippe's new movie that referred to him as "Mr. Reese Witherspoon", I figured there would be trouble. Regardless of how much you care about someone, things like that get a little hard to take after awhile.

No way - she is meant to be a too controlling - he repays this by cheating.
Rumour has it that he swings both ways and a fling with a waitress on location that was the final straw for the marriage.

They were very sweet together, it really is a shame. I did hear that they were having problems a year ago. I also heard Ryan cheated on Reese. It really is too bad.

It really is sad! I know that Reese Witherspoon has always stated that she and Ryan Phillippe have had continuous marital counseling, but, it seems that it could only help for so long. They are terrific parents and I wish them well in their futures.

i totally agree with u with the jen and brad thing. they were their relationship was the only one i believed was true love in hollywood. now......it's just over. at first i was shocked and i thought that it was wrong and it was just another tabloid. but i found out that it's true. i hope they work it out with everything.

It is awful. When I heard about this is was shocked. When I talk about all the hollywood couples breaking up, I always said that they were the couple to be like. I thought they would be together forever.

And we all saw how that turned out. It made me pretty sad when I found out just because I really though they were strong and could make it and they seemed so in love. I guess life in Hollywood is more about trying to keep a relationship than just living with the one you have.

It is sad. I hadn't heard anything about it in the tabloids before so it was a shock. And they have two kids. :-(

I always liked those two. because they did not appear in the tabloids as much as other people. it really shocked me. i feel sorry for their children.
