I have been twice first as Elvira then as an old woman, I had so much fun with the kids and the parents got a kick out of an adult enjoying the season of witches. I am going tonight with my grandson as a WITCH

My ex and I dressed up one year as the Avengers, Mr. Steed and Mrs. Peal.
We took the kids trick or treating prior to the adult parties we went to. We were offered nearly as much candy as the kids.

I've been going for a while I've been a dragon, a witch, a gnome, a raisin, basket of laundry, a pirate, a wench. The first year we had our son I made an engine block out of a cardboard box that I wore and pushed him in the stroller . . he was a pumpkin.
I'll be a witch tonight too.

I have never done this, but it sounds like lots of fun. Makes you feel like a kid again. More power to you.
I would love to do that since I was never allowed to trick or treat as child, due to my parents religious beliefs. Maybe next year, I should try that and join my now 2 yr old daughter in the fun.

My mother in law is going with me my kids and my husband.. She says she is going to just throw some things together and see what see comes up with, so I
don't know yet what that will be. I am excited to find out. I wanted to go, but never got around to getting a costume.

I've never gotten candy, but I always give it to adults who are accompanying kids. I like to encourage adult supervision of the little hoodlums.

Good for you My Mom who was in her 60 and very short used to go with me we had a blast.
Mom only got caught by one neighbor when she saw her mothers ring on her hand they got a big kick out of it.
