As for the vitamin A: it would depend on its form if it was beta carotene witch is water soluble you could use up to 50,000 IU max daily but if it was in the form of acetate or any other active form of vitamin A witch is lipid soluble don't use more than 25,000 IU even that is risky its better not to exceed 10,000 IU daily the daily recommended amount 5000 IU but 10000 are still safe.
And as for vitamin C: there are different studies but daily recommended 60mg daily but that's only enough to protect from scurvy but up to 2 or 3 grams is safe.
And as for vitamin E: daily recommended 30 IU daily but you can take up to 800 IU though id say its better to stay 600 IU and under.
And as for fish oil: stay in the range of 3 to 6 capsules of fish oil because that's safe and large doses make it hard for your blood to coagulate so you might just keep bleeding if injured.
pharmaton is safe by its self and if you don't exceed the amount i stated above when combined with the other vitamins , in other words add the whats in the vitamins to whats in pharmaton and if there under the numbers i gave you your OK :-) .
i hope that was useful.

Hypervitaminosis A refers to high storage levels of vitamin A in the body that can lead to toxic symptoms. There are four major adverse effects of hypervitaminosis A: birth defects, liver abnormalities, reduced bone mineral density that may result in osteoporosis (see the previous section), and central nervous system disorders
Vitamin C's cold-fighting potential certainly hasn't panned out. Small trials suggest that the amount of vitamin C in a typical multivitamin taken at the start of a cold might ease symptoms, but there's no evidence that megadoses make a difference, or that they prevent colds. Studies of vitamin C and heart disease, cancer, and eye diseases such as cataract and macular degeneration also show no clear patterns.
A recent scientific analysis raised questions about whether high doses of vitamin E supplements might increase the risk of dying. The authors gathered and re-analyzed data from 19 clinical trials of vitamin E, including some studies; they found a higher rate of death in trials where patients consumed more than 400 IU of supplements per day.
Fish oil is oil derived from the tissues of oily fish. This oil naturally contains the Omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Fish oil is now recommended for a healthy diet. It is beneficial to eat fish once a week (or more) but care must be taken to avoid the fish species which contain the toxin mercury or other contaminants such as Chlordane. Fish is a good source of protein and doesn’t have the high saturated fat that fatty meat products do. Fatty fish like mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna and salmon are high in two kinds of omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Note that these species are often predators, which can accumulate toxic substances due to their position at the top of the food chain.
At last i don't really think that multivitamins really work but you may use fish oil for more health...take care

Sounds excellent. Be sure the dosages are large enough (but not massive with the Vitamin A). You might want to add some minerals such as Calcium and zinc to the mix if they are not in the multiple you take.

More important than what you are taking is how much you are taking of each. The best way to maintain health is to eat a balanced diet of a variety foods. Most over the counter vitamins won't hurt you, but they aren't much help either.

Large overdoses of vitamins can be harmful. I doubt thats what keeps you alive during your shift. But if in reasonable amounts no harm.

I think it's better only take multivitamin once a day...you should consult with doctor for the rest of them.. vitamins are also drugs..take too much may burden your liver.
