I think the best for me was going to the black clouds and underdogs concert in may. All the bands did an amazing job.

The best concert I have been to was Styx at Chateau St Michelle in Woodinville WA. It was a fun time, the venue was outdoors, and it was a warm summer night. There was wine, great music and people who were all there for the love of music!

I just saw Zappa plays Zappa and it was amazing !!
Dweziel Zappa did his father and the family proud by playing some of the most amazing music ever written. As Dweziel said also, some of the most diffecult music to play too. The 3hours with no break went quickly.

I saw Frank Zappa 26yrs ago and that rates very high up. Steely Dan was a great show. That show was over 2.5 hrs long and
they were told by the venue that they had to stop.

Jethro Tull is a great show to see and so is KISS!!

If you ever get a chance go see Jean luc Ponty ! WOW
Oh and don't forget Chic Correa (the father of Jazz fusion).

Marshall Tucker and Charlie Daniels are both fun shows too !!
Oh and I'll never forget J.Geils Band, or the Go GOs.

As you could tell... I could go on and on !!!

Wanna chat about it.

Can't pick just one, but my all-time favorites are:

Bryan Adams, Palace of Auburn Hills, MI, early '90's.
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer with Deep Purple, DTE Energy Theater (outdoors), mid '90's.
Yes "in the round", Wings Stadium, Kalamazoo, MI, 1992.
The Moody Blues (no orchestra), Wings Stadium, 1999.

Bonnie Raitt...all 3 times I've seen her! Amazing performer/musician!

Bette Midler runs a close second. Her live shows are definitely not what most people would expect.

The Dresden Dolls with The Red Paintings:
Including a Fire act and people painting "human" canvases on stage and smokin hot girls dressed in cabaret dancing on stage pretending they're pregnant girls getting abortions (they actually pulled plastic body parts out of their padded tummies and threw them into the audience!!! = )

So many for so many different reasons...

The Exploited - played a small club and the place was jammed ('85?)

KISS - Creatures of the Night Tour ('82?)

WASP, Metallica & Armoured Saint - small venue ('84)
