Yes, you need a regulator. A propane in a bottle has a pressure of up to 210 psi. Your applicances need only ounces and are not designed for the full pressure of the propane bottle.
We have a propane range in our home. It is connected to a pair of 20 pound propane tanks with a switching valve and a regulator. We purchased the complete rig at the local propane dealership.
Some RV centers will also have the necessary items you need.

As said above, a regulator is a must. Also buy a propane detector/alarm. A buld up of propane could be deadly. RV or camp equipment outlets should have them. Ventilation is also a must when using propane indoors.

Yes you will need a pressure regulator on your bottle. propane creates about 60lbs of pressure and a stove needs about 7 to 10 ounces.

hi,
you don't have to reduce the pressure, but you should have a safety valve bee tween the Bottle and the hose, and don't have the bottle inside, always outside.Ks
