I have three answers:

My husband proposed to me in Kinsale, Ireland.
Kinsale is a charming Irish harbor town with swans in the harbor, colorful cottages and a lot of beautiful charm.

We spent our Honeymoon at Castle Leslie, County Monoghan, Ireland.
County Monoghan is not a tourist region of Ireland, and for this it is infinitely better. Castle Leslie is a 17th century castle that is still owned and operated by the family who built it centuries ago. They run it as a very eccentric bed and breakfast and equestrian center. The castle sits on 250 acres of private lakes and gardens. Each guest room at the castle has it's own personality.

We spent our first anniversary in Istanbul, Turkey.
The exotic spice of Istanbul is intensely romantic in atmosphere. It is impossible not to be charmed and awed by the graceful minarets of mosques, the cobalt blue tiles of the Sultanahmet Mosque, the harem of Topkapi Palace and the Bosphorus River at sunset.

In the arms of the man I love so dearly ....but we're no longer together...boohoo....;(
any where you are as long as you are both looking at eachothers magical eyes and enjoying everything about eachother is romantic.
I've been on a date with a romantic setting but it was'nt romntic at all because I could'nt feel anything for that person. So my dear romance is you and that special someone.

Redwood Forest, Northern California. It is beautiful, peaceful and serene. And it's so close to the Ocean. It was the most romantic trip I have been on with my hubby (and we have been a lot of places).
