I believe it was left on for too long. I came home and saw it plugged in but the 'on' light was not lit up (these grills don't have an on off switch). I called the company for help to no avail. They don't have a troubleshooting guide, and the website only offers the instruction manual with a few recipes. The company offered to send me a new one for $25, but I'd rather fix it myself. I opened it up to take a look, but nothing looks burnt. All the wires are clean. Should I test the wires with an electric current meter?

I have found the thermal fuse and am about to get an Ohm meter to check if it is blown. If it is blown, however, how should I go about replacing it? It is attached to the wires (does not look soldered) by two small gold clamps. Should I cut the wire? Will the new fuse come with new clamps?
