Most newspapers keep back issues available to the public for at least a year.
Give them a call... they should be able to tell you if that particular issue is available, and how much it will cost. (It shouldn't be much more than newsstand price.)

Well done! It's true we should stop thinking NHS hospitals are full of MRSA, Where we're left to rot in endless hallways. Wile the sick and week are ignored and left for dead in underemployed wards. Most of us visit these places via the over stretched A'n'E that lets face it is full of people who would be doing the world a service by dieing because there dumb enough to get a hover stuck where the sun doesn't shine or cutting off there fingers! My dad was in a coma a year or two ago he almost died, I have nothing but good things to say about the NHS. They just need more money and a little more credit form us. Give your local NHS trust a tenner tomorrow! It might be you one day!

Try going on to the newspaper's website and see if they have a section where you can order back copies, or there may be a phone number you can call.
btw, my dad kept a newspaper from the day I was born - 1 August 1969!!

Try putting a small add in the news agents window or at a local supermarket, some one might still have one, Usually any excess papers are destroyed.

I'd look in the catalogues that you get with the supplements in the Sunday papers - they are always advertising that sort of thing - although it would of course have been cheaper to have purchased a paper ont he day in question - although perhaps you'd be forgiven for havin other things on your mind that day eh :o)
