I've never been to Napa Valley and seeking a very romantic and fablous meal on New Years with my girlfriend. Any restaurants that are known for quality and a romantic ambiance will work...also we like steak and seafood if that helps or any place you recommend?

My fave is Martini House---it's very small and intimate with the most amazing food, they have great service too.

Terra is also very good (both restaurants are in Saint Helena)

Have fun!

Silverado Resort (they usually have a complete New Year's Package including lodging)...very nice, romantic place.

Other possibilities include: Auberge du Soleil, Bistro Jeanty, Bistro Don Giovanni (reserve a table by the fireplace), Domaine Chandon, Bouchon.

There are so many good ones! Bistro Don Giovanni, Cole's Chop House, Allegria? Those are just the first ones off the top of my head.

Tra Vigna in Healdsburg is not to be beaten. It's VERY romantic. Great food incredibly beautiful. Can't go wrong.

Or the French Laundry if price doesn't matter. (I mean this!) Make reservations now!
