What honesty is it that you think I hate? A question like yours requires an example. Otherwise all you will receive as answers are vague statements of agreement from liberals and angry statements if disagreement from conservatives.

If you are only looking for someone to agree with your blanket statement you are on the right track. If you want to actually make a point and generate political debate you are going to have to give more detail about what honesty you think conservatives hate and why you think we do.

Pick an actual issue and lets discuss it. Why argue about classifications when we could spend our time talking about real solutions to real issues?

First let me say that I am a liberal. Having said that I must also say that these kind of questions do absolutely nothing to help bring this nation together. There are conservatives and liberals that have a difficult time with the truth. There are also conservatives and liberals who are very honest and seek to do what they believe to be best for this country.

Do not play the party power broker game of thinking in generalizations. Allowing ourselves to fall into those patterns is a serious mistake. Far too many candidates (of all stripes) are running for office in this election basing their campaigns on the need for party power. Their loyalty to the party overshadows their interest in the truth or their loyalty to the nation. If we blindly follow these people we help them dismantle this nation.

Help us begin mature political discourse between all sides. This is the only course that can enable us to again move our nation forward.

It's because they are miserable people and will do anything at any cost to get what they want, with honesty being the minimal expense that is compromised. Your question is awesome!
