Depending where you are, you'll have to get to the resort so that might cost you a bit. These are the prices at Bear Mountain:

If you rent from somewhere else, not the mountain, it could be cheaper. Also, you'll have a greater selection of boards.
I don't know where you can rent clothes though...if you don't have anything I think you'll have to make due with what you have or borrow from someone else. You can get cheap gloves, goggles, and hats for under $10 each.
