I don't see how it affects me. as long as they keep the sex indoors, unless they are 2 very hot woman. there is one problem, if they want to have gay marrage, what next, people are going to want to marry their pets. then again i don't see how that affects me, just as long as you keep them off my lawn.

Gay marriage is just as normal as same sex marriage. Love is an emotion between to people. Everyone is capable to feeling this. Why put bondaries around it? I myself do not think one needs to be married to prove everlasting loyality, but many people do. Politic and world leaders try to stress we are all equal. In reality we are not. If we were, then this would not be an issue. We all need to leave the homosexuals alone, and let them marry if they please. Its not hurting anyone, it only creates happiness for those who have been waiting all these years. My lesbian friends were married this month after waiting 24 years. It was so beautiful. I support this 100%!

I am all for it. The politicians say that the sanctity of marriage is on the line if gays have the right to get married. Marriage is no longer a religious thing, its is something that legally binds one person to another, and protects them under certain circumstances. And you absorb your spouses debt, where's the sanctity in that? But what happened to freedom and equality for all and separation of church and state. This country was founded on the rights of the individual. And if I choose to get married to someone of the same sex how does that effect anyone else but me?

100% for it. Why not?? i dont see what all the fuss is about.. People are saying that it will hurt families, but if a hetro couple up the road are having troubles with their marriage, what has me marrying my girlfriend got to do with it. If 2 people love each other that much and want to show it by sharing vows, and committing to each other for life by holy matramony, then i dont see a problem, no matter who or what you are....

I dont think its my place to judge the issue of same sex marriage.
I am straight, but have gay friends.
I think that it is just another way for the politicians to try and
control the people. They say people aren't born that way....
its just a sin. Well, how do they know??? I mean REALLY.......
are the GOD??? NO, they are not.
People are just afraid of what they dont understand.
Okay to answer the question........I dont care either way, but
its a good question.

Who am I to judge anyone, I think if two people love one another and they have made a commitment to each other then let them marry. I think a lot of strait people get married that shouldn't be aloud. We live in the land of the free but I don't think we treat everyone free. I think its their rights as Americans.

For it. Btw, marriage is not necessarily sacred...they don't have to marry under the church. For the people who believe in the "bible", the bible doesn't say its wrong to be gay. READ IT, CORRECTLY! If God loves all he creates just like ur mom loves you. Hence, gay marriage is not wrong. Besides what are they doing to u, they have the right to be happy too so stop hating (people who hate gays).

I think all gay women should get married and put on a island of their own. Also gay men put on and island of their own.
Then if they reproduce and their species survive then it was meant to be, If they don't then we will have two deserted islands

I'm for anyone who wants to marry another consenting adult... to share their life with another, to spend the rest of their days with one other person, to love only one other for the rest of their lives... gay or straight
