I think the best way is to have a sponsored uniform. Try to get a business to pay for the uniforms (shirts, pants, hats, etc). And in exchange, have the team name be that of the business. They can put the business name and logo on the front like a team name. If done right, it turns out pretty good. Also, go for businesses that spend a lot of money on advertising, like car dealerships. The money you require is small compared to what they spend every year on advertising.

go to your local business and ask them dont forget real estate offices, dentists, contractors, and restraunts.
My daughter has been in softball for 9 years if there is a parent on the team who owns their own business they will quite often sponsor also

From experience - go to the local pubs and bars and see if they are interested in ponying up the money for the league fees. They will have their name on your shirts and u guys can go there to drink, giving them revenue.

Place to go is to your local chamber of commerance----they can tell you places that are more apt to sponser teams or even new businesses that are looking for team(s)
