That's funny you say that because a lot of women out there marry or date men who are JUST like their father.
Just remember this, when you marry, IF you marry, you don't just marry her, you marry her whole family.
You don't have to like her father or love him for that matter, what you should do is show respect to the man who help bring up the woman you care for. If that's the ONLY thing you can find to like about him, focus on that... "this is the man who raised the woman I love".

well my man and my dad don't see eye to eye some times but at least hes a man about it and trys to stay out of my dads hair and my dad of course i had a talk with him and he also has made the effort to not get out of hand when we visit ..............so try talking to your girl and come to some type of agreement see if dad can agree too .and of course that's if you love this girl .............if not don't waste your time ...............good luck

It is a matter of individual's attachment to his/her family. U do not have any thing in common with him and hence liking him will require more effort.

That definitely isn't my motto! I hate my father! Tell you woman that you love her, but you don't feel that you and her father have personalities that mesh well together. Just be careful, if she is that attached to her father you don't want to bad mouth him and alienate her.
