Isnt the Day of the Dead the day before..like Devil's night?

Yes, Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos are started on the same day, but Halloween ends in one day or 24 hours. Day of the Dead goes on till Novermber 2nd.

Dia de los Muertos is November 1st.
Halloween is October 31st.
They are similar and at similar times, true, but not the same.

No. If I recall, the "Day of the Dead" is observed as a celebration of those who have passed on, believing that death is only the beginning. Halloween came from All Souls Day I think.
