My friend is scaring me. She talks about how she thinks about suicide sometimes and it scares me because i think of her as my sister. her dad is not nice to her he fight her sometimes physically she want to go live with her mom. her dad wont let her. she cuts herself she doesnt think shes pretty she thinks no1 wants her i dont know what to do.

Get a hold of CPS, the cops, some crazy teen hotline.
Tell someone at your school who is obligated to do something if a student says there's something happening.
If all else fails, help your friend kill herself. No, I'm kidding, what are you, sick?

How old is your friend?? My daughter who is 22 now has been a cutter since she was 17 and it is very scary. AS A PARENT, sometimes you shut your eyes to the problem.. I wish I hadn't. She recently I had her diagnosed with a condition called borderline personality disorder and she violently attempted suicide in MAy 2006 (put her car into a barricade). What kind of relationship do you have with her mom. Personally, I think that if she's wanting to go live with mom, that what should happen. I also think you have to talk to her about your concerns and MAKE SURE you know you are there! Have her go to her dr. as she is cutting there is something there that makes her really unhappy and angry (thats why they cut).. and she really needs to get help!!! YOUR A GOOD FRIEND

Tell a teacher or parent! They can get the right people to get her to live with her mother. And help with the cutting and beatings!

i agree tell an adult, other than that remind her that you love her like a sister and you would be crushed if she left you alone. only with love will you overcome.
