They are asking for a legal document to show who the heck you are to be able to transfer property out of a trust. Are you authorized and if so by who and where is the paper trail to show this. Are you a beneficiary. Talk to a lawyer in your jurisdiction. Is it an offshore trust or onshore. Is it a permanent trust or revocable. What country and what state. Where are the assets being transferred to. What tax liability is incurred. See lots of questions come up. Transferring assets offshore may be desireable.
