Was it a blind date or were you friends for a long time? Did you hate each other at first or was it love at first sight? How long have you been married? And lastly, if you had it to do over again, would you have married him/her?

I am 60, and I met my wife in the dried food aisle of a supermarket. Introduced by my Dad, I fell in love at first sight. Since I was not the most glamorous outwardly attractive person, my wife to be did not have the same show stopping experience. I called her the following week about mid week and asked her on a date the following Saturday. Although she did not really want to go out with me, she (she says she felt sorry for me) said yes. When I picked her up, she was dressed fit to kill, and that sight clinched my mind about her. For me, the date was electrifying. For her, it was not so great, but she realized at the end of the date that she was going to end up with me (she told her girl friend that - too bad I didn't have that info then). We dated about two more times, and then, in an attempt to scare me off, she told me to buzz off. I let her have some space, but the whole time I was away from her it felt like I had lost my best friend. I was sick to my stomach, I couldn't eat, and I knew that I was in love for the first time in my life. About two months passed, and I figured that I'd better put her behind me, but I never could - I compared other dates to her, and they came up far short of the mark. I took her a Christmas present by the house, but she wouldn't see me - I left it anyway. It was a custom made decorative light that I had spent about 30 hours building especially for her. About a month later, she wrote me a letter (no email in this story), and told me to stop by if I had time over the weekend and take her to get a Coke. My heart jumped a beat, and I was so excited that she had finally responded. That Coke date was the best feeling that I had ever had in my life. She has told me since that she had begun to see my best side. I had bought new clothes since the first few dates, and had tried to make myself more presentable. After we had dated for about a month, I couldn't wait any longer, so I drove to a secluded site and proposed to her. To my shock and surprise, she said yes!! That was the happiest day of my life, and we have been married for 35 years. Now it hasn't all been wine and roses, but I would not change a thing that I did to woo her. The only thing I would change is to try to make her happier after we got married. I made a lot of mistakes, but all I have to do when times get rough is just remember the feelings that I experienced in the early days. She is one of a kind, and I wouldn't change my decision to be with her!

I met my husband at a wedding. He knew the groom, I the bride. We both were in serious relationships at the time. But it was love at first sight. We really hit it off that night. We didn't start dating until one month later after each of us had ended our relationships. We have now been together 5 years and married 3 years. And lastly, I would do it again in a heartbeat. I couldn't imagine my life without him.

I met him through a friend when I was 14. we dated for a couple months, then were friends for a few years. It got serious at 17, we moved in together (1st apt.) at 18, had a son at 21, got married the next year. We've been married almost 3 years now. I would probably still marry him, but I would change a lot if I could do it again.

My husband and I went to the same high school. We did not have one class together. We did not know each other. In college we had one class together. I was dating a man that has the same name that he has, they were friends. We ended up doing homework together. Their was flirting from the beginning. I knew after 4 months that he was to be my life long partner. We were engaged 1 1/2 yrs. Been married 12 years. Still loving him and would marry him all over again. Honesty and Trust always gets us through.

The very first time I met him I was a child, about 9, and and he was 21. He was married to a neighbor and was helping all of the kids on the block play kickball. I was sitting on a hill. The other kids wouldn't let me play because I wasn't very good and he talked to me. I saw him around the neighborhood a lot. Years later, when I was 21, I met him again. How ironic. We dated for five years and eventually got married. We've been married for 16 years. We separated last March. He met his "soul mate" at work. We had a lot of happy years. I'd still do it over again.

I actually met my husband in a bowling alley, we were on the same league (not team) for years. We were both married which were on the rocks anyway. After our separate divorces, we started to see each other. He asked me to marry him, in a bowling alley on league night (we were on the same team this time) and we married at the Grand Canyon. Been married a little over 10 years with 2 children. We are going strong, even with the arguments, and I am looking forward to many more with him.
If I had a chance to do this all again, I would not have a second thought about it..... YES!!!!!

I met my husband on yahoo personals. He sent me an instant message and we started talking. We met about a week later at Texas Roadhouse and then went to a movie. The next day he called me on the phone and I told him I just wanted to be friends, but that would be better for him because then I could pay my own way and everything. We met up a couple days later for dinner and he was so cute, I realized I had made a huge mistake. After a few more weeks of movies and dinners, I went to his house to watch a football game (I hate football). He got up for something I moved to his spot on the sofa and he sat down next to me. I leaned in and he put his arm around me, and after a minute, I was like, whoa what happend. A couple more minutes went by and then we kissed. Niether of us was expecting it. We began talking in October of last year. We were officially engaged on Christmas, married in July, and have been happilly married for almost 4 months. Wow, that was all really fast. We're very happy together and I wouldnt change a thing.

On a Christian singles website. We swapped a few emails, then decided to meet. After a couple of dinners together, we started dating, and the rest was history. And, yes, I would definitely do the whole thing again if I had the chance, because I am just as much in love with this woman now as I was five years ago when we exchanged our vows at the altar.

LOL. Actually we both worked in the mall. He at Taco Tina's and me across the way at Dairy Queen, but we never talked, only noticed each other.
So one night at a Keg down on the river he was with my best friend and I was drunk as a skunk and needed more beer but couldn't find my way back to the keg. I ran into them and told him if he would get me another beer I would give him some free Dairy Queen. The rest is history. 23 years and 4 kids later.
And no, I wasn't a lush. Just a thirsty high school party girl.
I'd marry him again and again and again! No one would ever love me better and he is very good to me.
