It differs from town to town. Check your local paper. Most are found online now. Ours is 5-8 in town & the smaller community nearby, 5-7.
If this doesn't work, call the chamber of commerce. If they don't know, they should be able to tell you who would.

Check your local community calender.
Most have set times. Some places do not allow door to door trick or treating.
And also some have banded it after dark.

Younger kids will start right at dark, older ones will still be trying to come at midnight, cut the lights off
