dont download from limewire anymore in fact go to add/remove programs and completely take it off, the only way to fix your computer now is take it in to a computer specialist. But hey your learned your lesson though right, yeah I had some problems from lime wire too I got a worm there and it deleted some of my programs. And I will never go back there again. So repeat after me WE will never go back to limewire again NO matter how much we want some free music or movies.

buy an anti-virus and try to install it throw safe mode, if it does work, pull all of ur info, and re-install the computer. even if it doesn't work, re-intall the computer, this is a fatal point that comp. its in.
and make sure u DO NOT USE limewire again, its a terrible virus installation program.
Good luck.

Well I guess your only choice here is to reinstall XP. Reinstalling it will cause you to lose all of your information on your computer including programs so you should have some backups of them. If you dont have programs/information that are extremely important or cant be reinstalled, just pop in your XP CD and reinstall. Next time you should have some reliable security. Try visiting my website at http://nbgrigoryan.googlepages.com/home and click on "Securing and Maintaining my computer" after you reinstall xp to help prevent more spyware on your computer.

you should be able to start in safe mode unless you have a hardware problem - like a bad drive ( or your operating system is kaput - if so the only fix is all new - get them disc out and load )
