I suppose it could be, but remember that number is based on his entire worth, which includes any property he owns, any investments he has, any structured payments he may have as a result of indorsements, etc. So he may be worth over a billion dollars on paper, but it's not like he has a billion dollars in the bank. As I said, though, I wouldn't be surprised. He made HUGE money on indorsements when he was playing basketball and he's still making big bucks for indorsements like Hanes.
